60 MINUTE MONEY WORKOUT...BY Ellie Kay presents a program for conquering your financial problems in a workout format like you do for your physical workouts. Kay takes you through sessions with your money habits and problems in the same format as at the gym. There is a warmup time followed by strength training and then cardio burn. You then take your heartrate and then the cooldown. Because of the format and breakdown of focuses, coupled with a definite time and place date with yourself, there is a continuum that keeps you working at improving your money situation. Kay has put a lot of energy into the book that comes to the reader and transfers into enthusiasm. With that, she has a lot of advice, good advice, not the same old things you hear again and again in other places. The author has a husband with spending patterns opposite to her own, and several children whom she has managed to get through college, all debt free. That alone is enough recommendation for this book. You will enjoy reading it. There is no drag. It all moves along and it does educate the reader about finances. Good book.
