Betsy from Joyful Reflections posts a Let's Talk blog on Fridays. Today's subject is aging. Considering for myself the aspects of growing older, I have realized that I am quite comfortable with where I am. Being my age is nice....barring all the inherent health worries. I hate being slow with limited movement and knowing the muscles that are left on my frame will certainly cramp up if I use them much at all. And my bones will ache. Still, there isn't much that is really wrong with me and I am grateful for that. I worry sometimes because my instant recall goes on the blitz when I need it. That is annoying. But for the most part, I am a happy camper.

I love my apartment, except for the carpet. It is the color of dirty....not kidding. The kitchen is much more efficient than the old big one in the house. Sunshine pours through the large expansive windows. And the bathrooms are large. I am still decorating and arranging and, yes, struggling with the storage.

It's really good to be happy with the age you are I think. There's so many things that it's so good to leave behind. And we don't have much of a choice anyway. Blessings, Diane
