I have a feeling that life is passing me by. And on the other hand, I sit here and let that happen. I am way behind on lots of things, mostly keeping up to friendships and family. Surely this has to do with aging and slowing down a lot. Or maybe life has been a bit overwhelming lately. I keep seeing myself alone, in a rest home, maybe, with visits that have dwindled down to one or two a year. It almost doesn't sound that bad. [???] Do you suppose I am needing a holiday here? I am acquainted with two amazing ladies who are each in their nineties who could dance circles around me. They tell me I'm young, at sixy-three, and I figure I'd better believe them. I tell my forty-year-old children they are young. And I want to smack them 'til they believe it! Well, my blogs are poorly done, but here's a promise that they'll get better. Ben, I'm coming over to re-do the comments that were lost to you. Didn't mean to get all maudlin here.

What's going on presently:.............................
Two days ago, it was discovered my laundry room has been dieing a slow death. The water heater above ours has been leaking for some time, unbeknownst to anyone. Our walls and ceiling are destroyed inside. So today, and this week we'll deal with that. But isn't it Great that all of this is handled by apartment maintenance!! Whew!!!
