It started out with Carole Jackson 's [COLOR ME BEAUTIFUL]. Do you remember? Everyone in my world went nuts trying to figure what season they belonged to by looking at the iris in their eyes. We are created in the colors of winter, summer, autumn, or spring in our personal coloring, personality, and color palette. We spent hours deciding if our skin tones were warm or cool, if we were vivacious or tranquil, and the etc's that went with it. Forty years or so later, Carol Tuttle has gone a few steps further with this self evaluation and written her book, [DRESSING YOUR TRUTH DISCOVER YOUR PERSONAL BEAUTY PROFILE.] We have come into the New Age of Energy Profiling. It is very helpful and lots of fun. Ms. Tuttle has detailed four energy patterns that make up our physicality #One is lighthearted and bubbly, full of laughter and light. #Two is soft, sweet, and classically romantic. #Three is dynamic and moves forward. #Four is steady and independent. You realize that I am giving very condensed versions here, of course. Anyway, what my sister, niece, and daughters and I are playing with now is Which energy are we, and how do we dress to compliment that. Sounds fun, eh?? You're a bit curious, right?? So, having found for myself that polyvore.com is just lots of fun to play with, and you can create your own collages, I am doing just that. And posting what I've pulled and pinned for all to see in the hopes that Marie, Dolly, and JoAnna will post me back to say, "That looks like type one," or "definitely a four" or what ever. Hope you all have some fun with this. When I figure this out, I'm sure I will be a better dressed, more energetic, happier person. The collages are created of dreams, of course, but it is also a fun way to discover your own style preferences. And you get to see what I like and even lust after. {the shoes....oh, sigh.}
