Two year old Rayne is just a HOOT. She is trying very hard to establish her boundaries, I think, so she has taken on a real in-charge attitude. Yesterday I gave her some beads to play with. When she took them into the next room, her grandpa asked if he could see them. "They're not your beads, KelseyGrandpa," she said very firmly. "They're KelseyGrandma's beads. They're Not yours." She set her little face and scowled and repeated herself over and over. Grandpa and I were laughing our heads off. She was so serious!!!! I love watching her. And Caius actually got mad today. He was fussing a lot and just kept at it with all this 'crying' but no tears. You have to remember he isn't even three months old yet. He finally got my knuckle in his mouth and he bit down and kept "talking" and complaining, growling and raising his little voice. I could tell he was mad!! It was so funny. I've never known a baby so young to just be exasperated and ticked off like that. But truth be told, Rayne woke him up after only a 20 minute nap. You can't blame him for being mad.
