TEN THINGS I THINK I DID, BUT APPARENTLY DIDN'T..............................
1. I thought I cleaned out the car. What's all this junk in the back seat??
2 I thought I did the dishes. Must be wrong on this one. Happens all the time!!??
3.Didn't I pick that up?
4. .......call them back?
5.........mail that stuff?
6......I thought I had all those photo files
all organized.

Change a diaper? Feed that kid? Feed myself? Go to the bathroom!?

I'm glad JoAnna said that last part, that's one of mine, and so is appointments. Dang! I'm home so much that when I have an appt. I forget it. Diane
The Damsel said...Didn't I get up early? What do you mean it's 3:30
Didn't I just take the dog out?
Haven't I taken out the garbage yet?
Hmm, didn't I just post this??? Just Kidding. I'm going to post it and come back and add as I think of more. Or if you post a comment, I'll add yours.
Wednesday evening add-on:
I just scrolled through a few blogs of friends. They have left me with some introspection. Now, I am wondering, Didn't I call that dear one? I've been meaning to for so long.
Don't I really love our little dogs? Why am I always scooting them away?
Didn't I always want to sew for my grandkids, and my girls? I haven't yet.
Didn't I resolve to be healthier? Doesn't seem to be working so far?
Didn't I want to be more spiritual, pray more, express my gratitude more?
This could go on and on at this point. It could be that the first "didn't I?" 's explain the failings of the second list, but, that just isn't a valid enough reason for the better things being ignored or missed. How did I accomplish so much more when I was so much busier??
Well, all we can do is try harder, and maybe meditate a little more, focusing and organizing in our heads better. After all, what is the better part to choose? Tomorrow I will do more and do it better!!

I think that's part of the problem with this age....I never know what day it is either. It just doesn't matter.
