ANGEL TREASURES

Does anyone recognize this from an old painting? It was quite popular when I was very young, and probably years before then. The two children are crossing a bridge and the angel is there to keep them safe.
This is a nightlight, about
nine or ten inches tall.

Years ago my grandson gave me this little angel for Christmas. It's about two inches high. James was just about three years old then and came running in one afternoon and asked me, "Grandma, do you like cherubs?" I said I liked them very much. "Good," said James. "I got you one for Christmas." It is usually kept in the decorations box, but this year has been just hanging around the china hutch. The other lamp has been put away for a very long time. I think I gave it to my mother many years ago. A few days ago, the nightlite was discovered in some packing and put on my computer desk and guess what? The little angel fits just perfectly with the two children. Don't you love it? Isn't it perfect? It's so much fun...I just wanted you to see it. I love the serendipity of how it turned out. I hope you can see it well enough.

The little angel just fits perfectly with the little children and the nightlight. And they're all so special to you, too. Very sweet and lovely. Diane

It is perfect! Sorry to have raced through SLC without seeing you! It was a made dash, which I will try to post soon. I feel like maybe I am starting to recover from everything that happened last year and maybe I will be more social? Hope so. I wish I could have stopped to see you!
