Yesterday, Khrys and I worked all day delivering newspaper/magazines to businesses in the city. We worked hard. We dropped off hundreds. And we barely got started with what we have to do. We literally filled my little car with them and then I drove the car and she took them in at each stop. It works much better that way. The car doesn't become a problem with parking, turning it on and off all day, and we could keep it cool.
We got twice as much done in the second half of our day as we did the first, so once we get the routine down, we just might be making $15-20 dollars an hour. That's not a bad little job for some cash in your pocket.

Good for you! We did that when the kids were home. We delivered phone books. I drove the van and they jumped out and delivered them. We also did a twice a week paper route, which was supposed to be a family job. Some of the kids were better workers than others, but we did earn enough money to go to Disneyland, which was our goal. That was the best trip, even though George was laid off as soon as we got home. I was glad we didn't know about it when we left because it woud have spoiled the trip.

It works. I'm so suprised and happy to see you here Judie,,, you too, jak. It sounds like you were experiencing life then, like we are now. We're actually trying to grow a business with it, to help out with retirement. Steve knows everything about paper deliveries and has lots of connections, so it's worth a try.

I'm so happy to see you again, Judie. It has been so quiet here for a long time. Think i'll buzz over to your spot and see what's happening.
