I have re-discovered that game...CUBIS!!!!!!!!..... yeee haw!!!!!!!!!
I once played this computer game hour after hour hundreds of years ago. It worked well to counteract pain...took my mind off it when I had surgery. How many years ago was that.?
Anyway, you certainly can spend a lot of time doing nothing this way. I have yet to feel guilty because I'm having such a good time. Do you want to know what's really neat. I am playing sooo smoothly, like all the moves are just there in my head and my fingers and I don't have to think about it much. And I think that is really cool. I suppose it's called learning. I suppose that's what people do, but for me, it's always been difficult for me to remember and do some things, like playing the piano. If I sit down and just play things go well. But when I think about it I can make goof-ups on the simplest piece. So am I brain-defunct? I've read about this, not the defunct part, but the part about your brain going into automatic, learned response. You don't have to think about it.
Oh well, I'm not going to belabor this. I'm just celebrating finding my favorite game here.

Yay for you!
I find it interesting what you say about just doing it versus when you stop and think. I've felt like that about a lot of things. The first thing I thought of was playing basketball in gym class. I used to feel like I did a decent job playing- I used to really like playing- but everytime they'd stop us and try to "teach" us to play, I'd get so messed up and bad at it. I thought I was weird.
That's very interesting. I've read that your brain has an automatic response reflex that will almost always do the right thing first. It's as if thinking confuses the process.
