Today three year old Rayne told me, " It's just not a glad-it's-happening day, today." And then she proceeded to tell me why that was so.
JoAnna and I went out for some cheese soup at Dee's. It was a perfect day, sun shining, blue skies and brilliant autumn trees still sprinkling colored leaves all over. The wind was blowing nicely. After lunch we all went across the street to Taylorsville Park to play. It was sooo nice. We all went to the playground. I think I haven't been outside for years, not to enjoy it and feel the sun and the wind blowing. I really needed that. Tomorrow's forcast is for snow in the valley. Winter will be here in the morning and the sky will be grey. But the snow will turn our thoughts to the holidays ahead and cheer everyone up. I always like the snow.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It did us a lot of good and I really loved having you at the park with us. Silly me! I have fantasies of sitting on a bench talking while they play, but I guess they aren't old enough for that yet.
Well, here we are. Let's see if it will let me leave a comment.
Well, I declare, it seems to have worked!
