Autumn is a time for changes and I am getting a good share of them this year. My little green Escort is gone now. The engine just had a heart attack or something like it. I'll miss that car and I don't know what will happen next, if there is a new one coming up sometime or not.

The other big change is that the boys are moving out. Christopher, as you might know, moved back from Arkansas and is staying with us. His son, James had already been living here for a couple of years. Both of them have decided it's time to move on. Actually they might be driving each other crazy having to share the room as well as sharing the bathroom with Khrystine. That is driving her crazy for sure, and it all drives me crazy because none of them thinks it's their job to clean up. AAAgghhh!!! Anyway, if they go there will be an extra bedroom which I am pouncing on with full force.!!!!!!! I very much need a "Where Women Create" room for myself. So it's all a lot like moving again when you factor in the cleaning and pulling furniture around, etc. And I must ask the boys to pull that furniture for me before they go, because, Papa and I just don't have the power anymore. So, did somebody say something about Christmas or was that Thanksgiving??? It will be a bit stressful to see how this all plays out.

the photo is from hprints.com....think of it as...a big list, obviously, and going around and around or in all directions at once. I've got so I don't like posting without a photo. It's boring.

You will love your new room when you get it Rosalie.

When Leonard built my little cottage for me my mother was not yet in the nursing home. She said "what's it for?" I said "it's for me, don't you think every woman needs their own space?" OH YES!!!! She said very emphatically. Diane

What a difference that will make for you. A place to express yourself, to do with just as you like. Hooray! Sorry about your car!

Rosalie, sorry about your car. We have one out back that our son replaced with a newer model, and there it sits, all forlorn. It needs a lot of work and well, we don't think it's worth it. Cars almost get to be like inanimate family members around here.

I see you are going through the same thing as me with people moving out. Well, I was thinking about the bedroom my son just vacated a week ago, too.....hmmmm........I love your idea of a room for YOU. Wheels are spinning in my ol' noodle tonight!
