Autumn is settling in early here but slowly. Nights are deliciously cool. The sunshine has eased up from coming down head-on to a nice easy slant that makes everything colorful and pretty. I feel rested and lazy at the same time, although autumn always brings on vibrancy and enthusiasm for creating. I want to sew and read.... sounds like going back to school, doesn't it? Ahhh, nice.
Here at my house things are changing at a nice pace. Here's how things look now. We have been worrying a bit about the kids getting jobs. Christopher moved back from Arkansas...again....after realizing the job market was very weak there. He has found a job already driving for trash removal. He is very good at what he does, and the company was happy he found them. He works Mon-Friday and is paid quite well. And btw....do you know his job is one of THE most dangerous jobs in the country? Takes a real man to handle those machines. Anyway, his plan was to get the job and then buy a car as soon, and humbly, as possible. In the meantime, Papabear has been eyeing a nice little Infinity with low mileage and good care. I suggested to Papabear that if Christopher bought his car, he could contribute those payments he would be making anyway somewhere, to Papa's car payment, thus taking a lot of the burden off. And they did it!!! Now Papabear has a pretty new Infinity and Christopher has Papa's nice Ford Taurus. Works out good.
Now James has been working since High School for KFC and has been moved up to manager level with a good raise and other benefits. He is also working Mon-Fri regularly, which is good, but he is putting in 12 hour days constantly, which is good, well, for the money. But we almost never see him unless we are still awake at midnight, which we won't be anymore because...................... Khrystibear is now subbing for teachers with DDI VANTAGE, who help pre-school age children prepare to go to school. You know she is made for this job..she is just marvelous with children. JoAnna anticipates her housing problem being solved within a week or two with a THREE bedroom apartment, brand new!!!! It's so exciting.
The big change for me will be that Christopher wants his own place to live, as does James and Khrystine. JoAnna will be living in Grantsville, a considerable ways away, but still just an hour or so drive. And things will change a lot for Papabear and me if we are living by ourselves almost for the first time ever. I don't know what to think. What will we do then?? But if Ben and Melanie could just move back here, life might indeed be grand.
Oh, maybe that's why I changed the blog page....Maybe. ^.^)

I don't know what your husband does but if mine doesn't have a project in his shop he's in the house wanting to start some $$$$$$$ expensive project - and we can't do that.
