I don't want to go to bed or get up again or anything. I don't know what I want, but I guess I won't get it. Do you ever feel like you've been spinning in a circle and you just don't know which way is which? I want to be a hippie in flowing bohemian clothes with a big, broad-brimmed hat and a faux furred lined maxi-coat. I never did dress like that, never was a hippie. I was all prim and proper. Guess I missed that boat!

I missed the hippie boat,too,Rosalie. By that time I was a mother with responsibilites I imagine just like you. I love the picture, such beautiful reds.
Sometimes I feel like that, too. If I'm outside working in the yard i long to be inside working on my art. If I'm inside working on my art I know I should be outside. But then I usually have to run to the grocery store and don't get to do anything else because it's time to cook!! Darn! Maybe we should just team up and be gypsies and travel the countryside! Diane
You were/are GLAMOUROUS! Funny how different we were. And still are. I love the picture from Lagoon. You look like the General's wife or the belle of the plantation. I look like I just pulled a handcart across the plains. Interesting how true to life that photo turned out. I don't think either of us was putting much thought into it...but the real US came through just the same. I've tried to be glamourous at times, but it just doesn't work. I feel rather sad. I'm not sure I'm completely happy with the way I turned out! I keep thinking/hoping that I might turn out better or be able to change a thing or two when I grow up. Probably too late for that!
Is this a lot like wearing red and purple and spitting on the sidewalk? Yesterday the kids had a little suprise for us upstairs. Honor came down and told me we needed to come up. It was Sunday and after church, so I was comfortable. I thought about it, and then went in and put on my bra. So I guess I am not a hippy person either! Hahaha. Just an old grandma who comes home from church and gets comfy.
