Papabear took me to the YANNI concert last night.
It was magnificent, not that anyone could expect anything at all less. All the time I was there I thought of friends and family and I soooo wished you all could be there. The music could just fill the universe. It must come from another place out there. Yet, obviously it comes from Yanni's heart and soul. It is wondrous that one person could express so much this way. And of course, it takes miraculous talent that comes with all the supporting musicians. I truly believe that Yanni's music could propel this whole world through the universe, should the sun ever go out. It is known as New Age, and it is fabulous. I so want you all to hear it. Of all my favorites, which include Andrea Boccelli, Neil Diamond, Yanni's outdoes them all. He is the best. I wish you could have been there.
I've entered two of Yanni's songs. I'm afraid there aren't many available on playlist and that's okay... I am more than happy to pay for them. I also added Carmina Burana by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I just have to have that one handy. I spend so much time on the computer and it's almost the only time I have to listen to music so I have to have C B as well. I hope you like it. If you don't, change it or turn it off.

You make me wish I was there listening to him, too. Now that you mention Neil Diamond that's another thing we have in common. The baby is darling, enjoy them while you can, Rosalie. They grow up so fast. It seeems like such a short time that they're really, really happy to see you when you come. Hugs, Diane

Wow! What great opportunities you have. I remember going to a Neil Diamond concert once ......fabulous. That was before I left the civilized world! Anyone interested in coming out for Cowboy Poetry Gathering? Your tax dollars pay for it! ( I had no idea!) Anyway, that is about as exotic as we get out here! Glad you two had a wonderful time!
