It's another day here. J'Nanabear is coming over so we can do some shopping. You know, she's having a baby in just a few weeks. Somehow I don't think any of us realizes that. We've been so busy worrying about her and Rayne is so delightful that we get totally absorbed in her antics. But some things have to be done and plans must be made. Also Papabear is visiting two doctors today just to keep him on the healthier track of life. There is not too much for us to worry about but he needs to take better care of himself and the checkups help a lot. There are no classes for Khrystibear today. Karen sits by herself way up in Layton. I miss seeing you Dudderbear. I hear that Melody and baby Matthew are coming along quite well, although chances are baby will remain at the ICU for a couple more weeks, still stabilizing. He has made it to 6 pounds but is taking a rest now, and he should be adding more weight, so he can't go home yet. James gets to put in a few hours as Manager at his job with KFC today...Good Going James. I am planning for my awesome Etsy purchase from my friend Diane's store. It will arrive anytime now and I am so excited to make a display honoring our Great Grandparents. I have a lot of stuff to do that with....^.^)!!!! It will be fun. The rest of you need to check in once in awhile, but I know, I should talk, eh? Love you all. Have a really nice day

OUR FAMILY MANTRA
"Sometimes he would get so swept up in ideas, you had to chase him around with a butterfly net."

Well, it's nice to hear about your life...........to start with, I think the salt on nuts is probably a very big culprit. It makes me want to keep eating and eating. Sugar has the same effect. I keep a jar of raw almonds and one of dried apricots on my baker's rack for nibbling when the need arises. Interesting too, since I neglected to mention the bag of chocolate chips that hides away in a place only I know about......but I have also noticed that a nice Dove dark chocolate acts much the same as unsalted nuts. I can never get enough of the milk chocolate, but the dark(and Dove has been shown to be the best quality)leaves me satisfied with just one or two little bites. (and it is very good for the health conscious individual). I'm going to invest in a bag when I polish off that bag of choc. chips Sometimes I just need a bag...as I have hinted before, right now it's just a matter of survival. Grandmothers should never have to be in a position of being the "enforcer". Last night shortly before I left their house my littlest grandson, the one who is nothing but the delight of my life, told me to go home and never come back. Needless to say I went home in tears. I would never want Melody to hear this, she is on a terrible guilt trip...she has to leave the 4 bigger kids to take care of the baby, or leave the baby to be with the others. There is always someone left behind. Thank God it is almost over and we have a beautiful, healthy newborn, finally. Well, I guess enough is enough. thanks for talking to me last night.
Nice update on your life. You'll enjoy those babies. My mother told me "you'll never be the same now that you have a grandchild" That was 23 years ago. I guess she's right, good and bad.
Dove chocolate is awesome. It does satisfy something and feels healthy somehow. I need to get some raw nuts. I think I need the protein and meat is just a big turn off right now.
I keep worrying about Melody. I've become one of those people I wasn't going to be- worry and fret and try to think of what I can do... and then do nothing. Can we do anything for her? Or for Auntie M?
Rayne was talking the other day about going to Karen's. I'm always surprised what she remembers. I think she had fun and we miss Karen. Great job James! And, it was a lot of fun shopping with you Mumsy. I felt a lot better after that!
Miss you guys, thanks for the updates... things are still busy and crazy as always... boys growin like weeds and witty as can be... Tell everyone hi, I miss my James and sis in laws... and niece if I can still claim her... been having a rough go with my back again lately, doesn't seem to be getting better... I need a walker... :(
