For the second time now, I have pushed a key ?? and one of the pictures has disappeared. I am leaving this as is. It's either this or get it all really messed up. Just pretend you are playing a matching game like you did in First Grade. So sorry! I really do not get how to make this stuff work right. And anyway...it shows up different !!???????? in the actual post!!!!!!!!!!?????????

The picture above shows the living room, kitchen and dining behind, and a hallway through the door way with bedrooms on each side and bathroom in the middle. The master bed and bath are on the other side of the apartment, shown here.
There were so many possibilities before we brought everything over.

This is our dining nook, on the right. Sorry, the photos are misaligned again. We have wonderful windows and another door leading to the porch. {Porch is for ground level and balcony is the word for upper level places, right? So we don't have a balcony, we have a porch?}

Below is the entrance, sorta'. The hutch fits just right there and I kinda' like the still-life arrangement with the mirror, statue, and grapevine.
The photo...right...is my favorite spot. The colors of the lace, phone, lamp, and doll's dress are all ivory white, and so is the reflection of my ivory piano, in the mirror. The lamp casts a soft candlelight glow and makes it all look homey and pretty at night. I love to stroll by outside and get a peek of the soft, beautiful light there.

So there you have a glimpse of what's happening at our new home. It is, unfortunately, now quite piled with boxes and 'stuff.' But, give me a week or two and it should be looking much better. We really like it. I'm going to add another post with shots of Dad's library.
I wish you could come over.

Awesome to see these. Weird, but neat, to see familiar things in such a nice looking home! By the way, in the photo where you can see the desk with the telephone and the piano in the mirror ... on the shelf by the bedroom, on the top shelf, is a photo of me with long hair. I have next to none of those in my own personal possession. You should scan it and send it to me.

It's one of my favorite photos....Keep reminding me and I will be happy to send it to you. I am almost set up at the apartment with the printer and computer. It's a good observation you made, seeing that.

Love it! It is new and lovely, like a blank canvas, just waiting for the artist's touch.
