Today, Khrys and I are staying at the apartment all day. We have brought over almost everything now, and it sits in the living room in great big piles. Today we will put all of it somewhere else. I went out this morning to do a little shopping for things like laundry detergent. It's the first normal act for me in a long time. I felt settled. I get to shop at Target!!!!! It's just up the street. I love shopping at Target!!!! It's spacious. It's well lit. It's quiet. I can actually shop and just stroll about, thinking about what I'm looking for. It's wonderful. It feels as if we have moved to such a new place, not like anyplace familiar. And there is a nice Maverik store on the corner with cherry flavoring for my diet Pepsi, that also sells delicious french bread. I took some home and Khrys and James and I had bread and jam for lunch. I like it here.
