Saturday we women went to lunch. Aunt Marie and Melody were visiting and it needed to be. We don't see each other much, and also for Shelly to get out is becoming a rare thing. Jesse and his fiance also joined us. I wish the rest of you had been there.
In spite of the fact that the dining table has not been reinvented yet to give conversation an easier flow, we all had a delightful time. Actually, it was too noisy to hear much anyway, even leaning across the table to talk.
These get togethers are good. To be a tad satirical, they're good because we see family just long enough to remember we really love them, but not long enough to find out why we don't. Haha....that's what the all-day reunions are for. Well, not quite, but almost sometimes.
Okay, my intention in this blog is really to express love and gratitude for my family. I love everyone of them. Each one excels in qualities too numerous to mention. The troubles and stumbling blocks might be tripping some of us up right now, but there is love and support that is strong and pulsing. I think the really great part of it is that each of us belongs. You can't pull one out and cast him/her away. That would upset the apple cart and we would all roll away and be lost.
I think we are doing alright. We have hope and vitality and belief in good.
It was a good day.

Sounds like a fun time. I love those lunches out where you can enjoy the food and no one had to make it. What a treat for everyone. And when it's done, there's no clean up! Even better!
