FRIDAY NIGHT AND ALL IS ......OH H^^*

Just kidding on the title. Tomorrow is Saturday and it is the day we've planned to get our furniture put in order. Capital UGH!!
You've probably noticed if you look at my book list here [courtesy of Librarything] that I have lots of books on decorating. You'd thing I would have the prettiest house on the block! Wrong! alas, Wrong forever, no doubt!! I really enjoy reading the books and I might say I do come up with a lot of ideas. Unfortunately, as Papabear has said, all those ideas take a lot of money. So, is there anything bad about a girl wanting to knock a few walls down and build a second floor??!!!???
The problem with the books, I think, is that they are using all of their stuff. If they would just use MY stuff and put it in MY house.....that would be very helpful. I would like to have a Mediterranean look now. But that requires lots of empty space and rather large rooms. A nice ocean view with a beach would be nice too. I wonder where they put all their stuff in Mediterranean World. Sometimes there is a peg by the door with an article of some kind of clothing hanging on it. But look around (in the book)...where is the closet? Where do you store all your stuff?? Hmm....
Perhaps the key word here is stuff. We have more stuff than.... what...? And this house is really not built to hold so much as a vacuum cleaner. I'm not kidding.
Oh well, we'll see what we can do tomorrow. Fortunately, perhaps, M S called and I promised them some goody boxes next Wednesday. They do not, however, want the bedframe that's out on the porch.
After all these married years, I still don't feel like I've expressed myself much with my house. It's about time, ya' think? Maybe I just don't have the knack for that. But, oh well, I'll let you know how it goes.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
